Davis Cup LIVE: India aiming to take lead against Denmark Day 2 of their Davis Cup tie on Saturday, 4th February 2023. Doubles pair Rohan Bopanna and Yuki Bhambri are in action. However they have lost the first set against Johannes Ingildsen and Holger Rune in the first match of the day. The Indian pair has lost the first set 2-6. Rohan Bopanna is entering the contest after his runner-up finish at the Australian Open in the Mixed Doubles alongside Sania Mirza. The experienced Bopoanna’s presence is a big boost to India’s chances in the tie. Alongside Bhambri, the pair enter as the favourite against Denmark’s Christian Sigsgaard and Johannes Ingildsen. But Denmark could spring a surprise by calling up Holger Rune to feature in the doubles in order to strengthen their chances.

If India clinches the tie then they will have to win one more match to win the tie. Sumit Nagal has delivered the victory as expected against 484th ranked August Holmgren. He will however face a tough challenge as he will have to face Holger Rune in the next singles tie. Rune sailed past Yuki Bhambri with a 6-2, 6-2 win on the opening day.

While Yuki Bhambri is scheduled to face August Holmgren in the final match of the tie, the visitors can also give an opportunity to Prajnesh Gunneswaran and Ramkumar Ramanathan.
