Warlocks in Destiny 2 are seen as the class to use the most abilities in Destiny 2. If you want to live up to this idea of the class, then you need a proper build to enable you to spam to your heart’s content.
There are a few good builds out there to help you reach the peak of ability spam but only one build ranks above them as the best warlock build. Let’s go over what the best Warlock build is in Destiny 2 and what you need for it.
Best Warlock Build in Destiny 2

You will also need access to Empowering Rift and the Fusion Grenade for this build to fully work. The whole point of this build is to stand in your empowering rift of Well of Radiance and throw grenades. This is what makes Warlock one of the strongest classes at the moment.
Thanks to Touch of Flame, all of your fusion grenades will explode twice. Which helps to spread around scorch and ignite multiple enemies so you are making use of most of your fragments.
The big point of this build is that it works with the Starfire Protocol Exotic chest armor. This armor piece gives you a second charge of fusion grenades, lets empowered weapon damage to recharge your grenade quickly, and gives you class ability energy on grenade kills.
The cycle of this build is to throw a fusion grenade so you get a kill to recharge your rift. Then place your rift and shoot enemies from inside it to recharge your grenades. Finally, you can throw grenades inside or outside of your rift to get your class ability recharged and do it all over again.
This cycle will have you spamming abilities over and over on repeat. Depending on what weapon perks you have, you might be able to boost the damage your weapon does or at least reload it with each grenade throw.
Outside of this cycle, you can really do whatever else you want with the build. Putt on some mods to generate Orbs of Power is highly recommended. That way you can charge your Well of Radiance quickly and use it whenever you need.
