Diablo 4 goes live, however, long wait times and potential crashing plaguing Beta launch
Updated: Mar 24, 2023 5:07 pm

The Diablo 4 beta is finally here for everyone else to enjoy, however, some players are experiencing long wait times. Worse still, those lucky enough to get in are seeing Diablo 4 crash.
Blizzard had previously warned the queues will be lengthy, expecting “unprecedented traffic and queue times“.
Fans have been waiting years for this title, so it is unsurprising to see such high volume get involved right off the bat.
Diablo 4 crashing error
There is nothing worse than a game crashing at launch, but it can happen. No doubt devs are already looking to fix any early issues, however, that doesn’t help right now.
There were some issues raised around the beta early access crashing hard last weekend.
some reported that tabbing out caused the game to crash, while others were reporting blue screening.
Since the early access the hope would be that the devs have addressed these issues but If you’re experiencing trouble then you can look at known problems already logged with Blizzard: PC players go here, and console player here.
Diablo 4 beta queue issues

As Diablo 4 launched early, fans piled into the game for a taste. After trying their luck many Diablo 4 players report massive wait times of 60+ minutes.
Unfortunately, it looks as though the only fix is to wait the long queues out. Get the kettle on, nip to the pub, and do whatever you got to do to pass the time.
Blizzard was on the money with their early warnings, it is something that we have seen before after all. With the game being open, the surge has been significant.
From what we have seen the wait times that you are given are quite accurate, shame really. We expect the game devs to address the issue over the coming days, possibly including more servers to accommodate for the huge numbers of players.
