The first thing to do when buying a new monitor is to work out what you’re going to mainly use it for. Gamers will want to look for high refresh rates and fast response times. Content creators will want to value resolution and color accuracy. If you’re just going to be using your monitor for general purposes then the price might be a key consideration and you probably won’t need to go for quite the same features as more intense users.

They generally come in ultrawide resolution meaning a bigger screen and therefore greater cost.
