It is not about blaming him or being too hard on him, but we know no-balls in any format is a crime,” Hardik Pandya said at the post-match presentation.

To make things worse, Arshdeep gave away 37 runs in just two overs. He went for 19 in the first over, forcing Hardik to withdraw him for bowling until 19th over. With Mukesh Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav yet to play any part in the series, Hardik will be tempted to use both players in Rajkot.

• Shubman Gill’s international career in T20 has not started well. He has been poor in both games.
