A brand new update for Fortnite has launched globally for players on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch and Android devices. This update also sparks the latest season, Chapter 4 Season 2. The new season is titled ‘Fortnite MEGA’, and boasts a new futuristic neo-Tokyo vibe with plenty of new content.
As always with seasonal updates, this update’s patch notes brings new content, weapons, skins and vehicles, along with a brand new map of course. Let’s check it out.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 update
After a brief interlude in server downtime, Epic Games were able to prepare for the latest season, bringing with it some awesome updates.
Alongside some map changes, new features, and bug fixes, there’s a brand new battle pass, new weapons, and plenty more for players to jump into.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 patch notes
“Become MEGA in Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season 2. Ride the grind rails of “MEGA City” and swerve on its streets on a sports bike. Go beyond the neon towers to the rest of the new biome: cause Havoc at “Steamy Springs,” drive a Nitro Drifter to the “Drift Ridge” car track, sharpen your Kinetic Blade skills at “Kenjutsu Crossing,” and more!
Fortnite’s MEGA city isn’t the only new location in Chapter 4 Season 2 — it’s just one part of a brand new biome! Here’s a preview of this southeast addition to the Island:

VICTORY CROWN ROGUE
“Be a flash of light. This two-person sports bike features high acceleration, sharp turning, and a boost-ready engine. Also known as the “Rogue Bike.”“
Want a car instead? Get in this four-seater and use its handbrake to drift ‘round the bend.
Vehicle note: The Dirt Bike vehicle, Motorboat vehicle, Chonkers Off-Road Tires vehicle mod, and Cow Catcher vehicle mod are vaulted in Battle Royale in v24.00.”

Fortnite MEGA Health Items
In Chapter 4 Season 2, Slurp Juice is now Legendary-rarity, restoring A LOT of Health and Shield fast. It also restores Health and Shield at the same time. Drink it before combat to help you come out on top! Find Slurp Juice from Keycard-requiring Vaults, a POI rifting in, or “Combat Caches.”
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2’s Battle Pass Skins
Look mega good with Chapter 4 Season 2’s Battle Pass Outfits. With the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass purchase, you’ll auto-unlock the fine-tailored Renzo the Destroyer. Progress through the Battle Pass to unlock other Outfits, including the streetwear savant Thunder, the elegantly casual Highwire, and more.

Also, the Rogue Bike and Nitro Drifter are currently not included in competitive playlists. These vehicles may be added to competitive playlists depending on our monitoring.
Legacy Operating System Support Changes
Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season 2 players will be required to use Windows 10 or higher in order to continue playing Fortnite natively on PC in an officially supported manner. Windows 7 and 8 are now officially unsupported in Fortnite.
For players unable to upgrade, NVIDIA GeForce NOW is an available alternative so you can continue playing Fortnite via streaming on your current Windows 7 or Windows 8 PC.
