The building in this game feels very free-style, therefore it definitely can be a bit tricky to get a hang of, though you do get small building instructions in-game. It does feel rewarding once you succeed.
- Craft a wall by stacking six logs up horizontally
- Equip your axe and cut out a center piece from the bottom five logs (hold left click)
- Now you have a frame to place a door within, so equip the two additional logs
- Bring the two logs over to the door frame and you’ll notice a vertical line prompt
- A prompt will allow you to left click with the logs to split them
- Place they split logs within the doorway
You can also split the logs with your axe prior to setting them up in the frame if you wish.
