Is the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra 4K? Well, ahead of the Samsung Unpacked event on 1st February, 2023, we don’t know for sure what resolution the Galaxy Book3 Ultra will have, however, leaks ahead of this event have come out which seem to be the real deal.
From this leaked info, it would seem that the Galaxy Book3 will have a 3K display, not a 4K one.

What resolution is the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra screen?
According to a leaked report from mysmartprice, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra will reportedly have a 3K AMOLED screen (AMOLED being a variant of OLED screens, which are known for their superb contrast ratio and high response times).
The exact resolution of the 3K display is apparently: 2880 x 1800 pixels.
For context a 4K laptop display would be: 3840 x 2160 pixels.

Realistically, on a 16-inch display, 3K is more than high enough for most purposes.
The downside is that you won’t be able to natively edit footage 4K / still images at full screen, which may put off some professional editors.
Gaming at 4K resolution, even with the most powerful RTX 4070 loadout that you will apparently be able to equip the Book3 Ultra with, is probably not a good idea either way, given the hit to performance, but you’ll still be able to do it should you wish on this 3K screen, the image will just be a bit smaller.
