Gujarat Giants are positioned at the eighth place with four wins, four losses and a tie. The team will be entering the upcoming contest after losing their last match against Patna Pirates 34-28. The team lacks consistency and will need to improve their performance drastically in the upcoming matches.
Rakesh has been the team’s-best raider in the Pro Kabaddi league so far with 98 raid points. However he has failed to get support from other raiders. Prateek Dahiya is the team’s next best raider as he has so far scored 37 raid points. Skipper Chandran Ranith has chipped in with 35 points. In the defence, Sourav Gulia has taken the charge for Gujarat Giants with 25 tackle points. Arkam Shaikh and Shankar Gadai have been handy for Gujarat Giants with 14 and 12 tackle points and will be vital in defence.

Bengaluru Bulls’ five match win streak came to an end in their last game as they lost against Haryana Steelers in a closely contested game that saw the scores at 29-27. The Bulls will aim to return to winning ways. They have been involved in some thrilling matches of late and have held their nerve to register some hard-fought victories. They will bank on the likes of Bharat and Vikash Kandola to get their attack up and running in the match.
While Bharat has scored 112 raid points this season, Kandola has managed 65 raid points and Neeraj Narwal with 24 raid points has been their next best attacker. On the defensive side of things, their trusted trio of Saurabh Nandal (34 tackle points), Aman (19 tackle points) and Mahender Singh (17 tackle points) have been the standout performers.
Tamil Thalaivas vs Telugu Titans

Tamil Thalaivas are looking impressive in their last few outings. In their last three matches, they won two, while managed to tie the other remaining contest. They will look to notch up another victory in their upcoming contest as they face an under-performing Teugu Titans. In the absence of Pawan Sehrawat, Narender has turned out to be one of the important assets for the Thalaivas with 99 raid points. Himanshu Singh, Himanshu and Ajinkya Pawar have played their part in the raiding department and will look to add more value to the side.
In defence, Sahil Gulia and Sagar have been the key contributors with 21 and 19 tackle points. The right cover, M. Abishek has added 18 tackle points in the defence.

Telugu Titans, on the other hand, will desperately look to bounce back after their seven-match winless run. The Hyderabad-based franchise have secured one win and have nine losses against their name so far this season. Siddharth Desai has been the best raider for the Titans with 53 raid points. Against U Mumba in the last game, Desai picked up a Super 10 and showed glimpses of his previous self. Telugu Titans need more of such performances.
Vinay and Monu Goyat are not far behind Desai as they have 32 and 31 raid points to their credit. Telugu Titans defence has got some big names in their squad and they have a huge job on their hands. Parvesh Bhainswal has scored 18 Tackle points. Vishal Bhardwaj has managed to score 12 tackle points in nine matches.

Haryana Steelers will approach the upcoming contest against UP Yoddhas with confidence as they clinched a victory against Bengaluru Bulls in their previous contest. The Steelers are currently on the seventh spot on the points table with four wins and four losses and played out a tie so far.
The likes of Meetu Sharma (75 raid points) and Manjeet (62 raid points) have been their best attackers this season but they need more help to release the pressure from their shoulders and push back opposition defences. On the defensive front, Jaideep Dahiya and Mohit Nandal have been their best tacklers with 26 and 20 tackle points respectively. Iranian Amirhossein Bastami (14 tackle points) have also contributed defensively.

One of the more inconsistent teams in Pro Kabaddi Season 9, U.P. Yoddhas have won four and lost five games so far. The Yoddhas enter the contest after suffering a defeat against Puneri Paltan in their previous game. They will be keen to string together some wins as they look to climb up the points table and progress beyond the league phase.
They certainly have the personnel in their team to go on a winning run, especially in their attack which features Surender Gill and Pardeep Narwal who have scored 94 and 84 raid points respectively so far. On the defensive side of things, Ashu Singh has been their best defender with 28 tackle points, while their renowned pairing of Sumit and Nitesh Kumar have chipped in with 22 and 16 tackle points respectively.
