Helen Gamboa got emotional after husband, former Senate President Tito Sotto III surprised her with a bunch of red roses on their 52nd church wedding anniversary on Monday, Jan. 2.
Gamboa was sitting while checking her phone when Sotto approached her with the gigantic blooms, as seen in a video shown on their daughter Ciara Sotto’s Instagram page, also on Monday. The couple then shared a long hug while Gamboa was tearing up.
“Happy 52nd (public church) wedding anniversary, Tatay and Mimi! You will always be the best example of TRUE ETERNAL LOVE,” Ciara said in the caption.
